Help with my C3

Hi All,

I have a citroen C3 1.4 03 plate.

trouble is the EML light now comes on intermittently.

when cold its fine with no EML light however as soon as it warms up after 5 mins the EML light comes on and the engine starts to missfire and will just stall if in neutral or no revs applied.

the fault codes i have had so far are P1336, PO200, PO203.

Today we checked the earths and tested the voltage in the injectors but all seemed good, allbeit this was when it was cold not warmed up.

Any help as i have next to no money to fix it (80 quid)

Have you checked the crank and cam sensors?

Not yet, I am replacing the coil pack and injectors to see if this sorts it first.

An open circuit in the injector system

P1336 Crank/Cam sensor range/performance
S2000PM1/2 - High misfire on several cylinders
ME7.4.5. Combustion misfiring on unspecified cylinders.

That does tend to suggest a faulty cam sensor.

I've never experienced it myself, but from what I've seen on other forums the symptoms are typical of cam sensor failure.
