i have 2 key cards both not working they lock the car but wont open it

i have tried the

1. Turn Off the Ignition.
2. Press the central door locking button for 5 seconds or more. Please note: the door should lock and unlock.
3. When this happens, allow 15 seconds and then, the immobiliser warning light should illuminate.
4. Point the 1st key at the receiver and press the button twice, the doors should lock and unlock. Repeat for other remotes as required.
5. Point the 2nd key at the receiver and press the button once, the doors will then lock and unlock afterwards.
6. Check the remote control unlocking and locking the doors.

i press the lock button near the handbrake for the time stated but get no immobiliser light go on

any help please

thankyou

That sequence is for earlier car with keys, not cards. Odd that both do the same, does the locking switch inside work correctly?
Not unheard of for switches in the card to fall off the circuit board.
