I bought a Clio RS200 FF/Cup 4 years ago - purely for fun - and I've been deeply impressed.
I keep it in the south of France during the summer, and yesterday (Tues), I drove non-stop from Saint Tropez to Gloucestershire. And, when I say on-stop it virtually was - cruised at 140 kph most of the time, Telepeage transponder for the tolls - two 5 min stops for fuel and coffee nr Lyon and Reims, 40 mins to go through eurotunnel - and then the tedious bit in the UK.
15 hrs and 950 mls, 31.3 mpg, total comfort and relaxation throughout, despite mixed weather (awful at times). I really couldn't have done the journey in a nicer car.
And, for me, the steering and gearbox are two of its most delightful features.
I am fortunate to have several other serious cars, mainly from Stuttgart, but this morning I woke up completely refreshed and totally in awe of this little French gem.
In fact, I'm looking for another if anyone can assist - but must be one of the last 2013 models, ideally in Racing Blue with high spec., immaculate condition and very low mileage.
