After all the negative press this car had received, I had wondered whether I'd done the right thing buying one!
But then it turned out to be very good on the daily commute on boring roads, sat in traffic. So it definitely ticked the daily driver box!
And then I had the chance to take it for a few laps around Silverstone. It was actually pretty good fun! In Race mode, the gearshifts and pretty quick. The engine note lacks any drama high up the rev range, which is a shame (though this could probably be sorted with some ecu tuning trickery) but the front end seems pretty alert. And the suspension does allow some initial roll, but I certainly don't think it is a problem for an occasional road car. And it makes running the kerbs pretty painless too!
