New Citroen C1 Flair Rear Window Shattered

As above, 2 weeks ago my girlfriend came out from work to find her rear window smashed on her new Citroen C1. I wont go into details, but we're sure there was no foal play (except perhaps a bird flying into it).

Autoglass chap came out today and the first thing he said was that he'd replaced quite a few rear windows on the new C1's, one was brand brand new and sitting on someone's drive and it caved in all by itself.

I'm creating this thread to see if others have this issue/so that google highlights this thread when people search.

I know it was a known issue on the previous gen, but it seems like it's been carried over to the new ones!

Hi, I had a new c1 flair on a 15 plate until recently traded in. when I'd had it a while I noticed the rear hatch started to creak when I opened it. I also noticed that when it was creaking, the glass was moving more than the metal hinged part. I greased the hinges and that seemed to help.

Are you sure nobody has been horsing around, perhaps it was fowl play!
