Great stuff. I've sold the daughters Fiat 500 today so now going looking for something else. These are deffo on the cards.
managed to pick up a private sale 64 plate, 44k miles Aygo 1.0 on the weekend. Full main dealer history, reverse camera, half leather (or whatever material it might be?), got it for a good price as well I think?

Daughter has driven it twice and apart from now having to get used to it, she loves it, nice that she actually wants to go out driving in it. She didn't want to do that in the Fiat, so happy all round.
This didn't age well. Found out that the daughter was slightly dispraxic when it came to driving. So, this was sold earlier this year (actually made a profit on it!!).
Replacement, an Aygo auto, almost the same spec wise, but as it's an auto, more expensive. I ignored some advise that the auto box was an issue on these as they just seem like great little cars.
End result is that she passed her automatic test a couple of weeks ago, 2 minors only and she's now absolutely loving her Aygo.

Can't believe she'd already had three cars before she'd even pass her test smile)

Well after much online researching today we went and bought a 2016 108, 5 door, 1 litre with just 49000 miles on it and in immaculate condition. Little difference in price over later 107s, it seemed to be the sensible option to get the later updated model with the more modern ice, it will certainly be appreciated by its new teenage owner. Can't wait to do the handover now!
Nice one, they won't be disappointed, I actually really like driving my daughters Aygo. The Aygo/ 108/ C1's are great little cars.

I have owned my MK1 2014 Aygo 1.0 "move with style" for 4 years. Got it with 32k on the clock, now on 82k. Here's a list of stuff that's gone wrong with it:

...err...(tumbleweed)...

Not a single thing has ever gone wrong with it. Nothing. It's been the most reliable car I've ever owned. All I've spent has been on consumables and things that you expect to wear out with use...tyres, wiper blades, bulbs, brake pads and discs, rear exhaust box.

I'm taking it from Norfolk to Scotland this June so I can conquer Ben Nevis, and when I took it to Snowdon last year it didn't miss a beat and was a perfectly nice place to be for the journey.

MPG wise, I currently see 55-58 regularly on short/medium runs, but when I was using it for commuting I was up in the mid 60's and once recorded 68 mpg.

Servicing wise...well, I learnt to do the basics during lockdown and have continued to do so. Oil, oil filter, plugs, air filter...easy stuff.

I now use my work van most of the time, and the Aygo has so far covered just 320 miles this calendar year. When the finance is paid off next June, I'll be looking for something bigger and comfier.
