Hi guys/girls.

Just wandering if anyone can advise me on this.
The cooling system keeps foaming up on long drives and leaking out of the top via the tube at the top which just comes out by the drivers wheel.

Any ideas on this and also is this pipe meant to be connected to anything?

That tube is for getting rid of airlocks and should have a cap screwed on the end of it. A tyre valve dust cap does the trick.

Hmmmmmm is the pipe clear? possible might be from the radiator overflow Is there lots of pressure when you remove radiator cap if so I suspect possible head gasket! Hope this helps

Have to agree with tunku about the pipe .Can you hear the cooling fans working? it might just be getting too hot or the stat has stuck (very common on zx d's)or the rad partially blocked.

thanks guys for replies. i will try get a pic up on weekend.

a mate has advised its probably airlock and needs flushing and properly bleed to ger rid of air before re filling the cooling system.
al look at the stat as well.

will keep you guys posted
