peugeot boxer bad running,

hello, i am trying to fix my dads 1998 2.0 petrol boxer campervan,it has a slight flat spot and feels like it has a missfire in top gear, also some times it just wont start, just keeps winding over and not fireing, changed the plugs leads and coil pack and made no difference, has anybody had this problem, thanks.

Blocked fuel filter? if its a camper van the tank probably has quite a bit of sediment in it. Chuck a new filter on it and see what happens.

If not a diagnostic check may be neccesary. Could be a sensor such as lambda or even the ECU coolant sensor.

new filter seems to have done the trick, cheers mate
