Peugeot 307 1.6 HDI 90 S

My dad has just put a deposit down on one of these for my step mum as a run around. The car itself is on an '06' plate and has 26k miles on it, does anybody know if there are any major problems with these, and what to look out for.

ETA: Does anybody know where these can be remapped and what kind of power gains would come from this.
