What torque setting would you do these up to? Just getting it all back together after fitting the 309 Wishbones.

FT - otherwise known as (ahem)'fully' tight.

Unless you are rugby prop sized with a 4ft breaker bar you are unlikely to be able overtighten it. I think the official is somewhere north of 200nm.

Just to add you do mean hub nut and not the nut from wishbone balljoint to hub (which is only 12nm or thereabouts)?

Yes I mean the one that goes on the threaded end of the driveshaft with the 'R' pin that goes through it.

The ball joint pinch nut was about 35nm IIRC.

about 200nm, which my torque wrench doesn't go up to. I normally do it up as hard as I can with a breaker bar and then 1/2 a turn with a scaffolding bar on the end of the breaker bar.

Definitely the way to go - think it's about £70 for the biggest one they do which is 80lbft to something large (definitely enough to torque the hub nuts to the right specification).
