Hi, Long time lurker. Saw this thread so made me join up.
I own a RS200 "FF" in glacier white. Its got bluetooth, anthracite and carbon packs, Cup pack with cup spoiler and of course recaro seats.

Hello there, to answer the questions of the Latvian chap whose post now appears to have disappeared...

- The older badge was also present on the first year of Clio 200's, no problems there.
- The grey coloured diffuser and front panel were options and could be specified when buying
- To differentiate if the car is a 'Cup' or has a 'Cup' pack compared to non-Cup then check for red brake calipers.

Hope this helps.

'Mornin. Some RS200 questions from Estonia.

There's this pretty fine looking RS200 for sale in Latvia:

. Now most 200's I've seen have black front and rear diffusers. This one (like the above UK RS200) has them in grey, why? Did certain cars come as such from the factory?

In addition, was the "old style" Renault Sport rear badge only fitted to 197's and not 200's? This Latvian 200 seems to be sporting the older one (see above) but my mind tells me it should be wearing the newer style RS badge.

Feel free to also comment on anything that catches your eye. (See ad here in the middle: http://www.autoziedas.lt/lt/visi-parduodami-automo... .)

Answered above by me, it's a normal 200 with a Cup pack added and optional graphite panels (front & diffuser), it has the Recaro seat option and black painted alloys as well biggrin

Some of the earlier 200's got the old style badge.

Usual Renault parts bin assembly, just using up the old badges tongue out

The bumpers/diffuser are part of the 'anthracite pack' or at least that was its name here in the UK.

Ah I see, thanks. Initially I had the sense that it was a beat up example that was repaired somewhat badly (wrong color diffusers, wrong badge), but this does not seem to be the case.

As to the Recaros, a few years back I when my Clio 172 was at the dealership maintenance I made the mistake of dropping into a Megane RS 250 at the showroom. It had similar Recaros and, well, have been obsessing about them ever since smile

Been driving my ff200 for about a month now. Suspension is firm enough for road use and really nicely damped. Feels really quick (last car was 1.4 207!) And really responsive engine. Surprisingly good on the motorway too-revs lower than the old 207 @ 70 in top.

Can see why these did so well against much more expensive cars in road tests. On an average b road I can imagine it quite possible to keep up with say a new 911. Very capable chassis!

I've signed up just to join in..im up in Wakefield.
Had mine for 2 months now and I'm loving it, no pics yet, as that would involve having to wash it..
It's a 60 plate Gordini with cup packs, in Malta blue with twin chav stripes biggrin I haven't been anywhere nice in it yet, i'd love to do a few track days when weather gets nicer.. can anyone recommend a good track for a beginner?

Elvington airfields up near York, it's flat and being an airfield unless you run off by about 4 miles you'll still be on tarmac. It's obviously also quite flat, plus for a beginner.

There's also Blyton park down near Gainsborough, again an old airfield, probably has a bit better tarmac than Elvington at a guess (though I've never been to Elvington myself).

I did my first track day at Oulton Park iirc though and I'm still alive, then went on to do about 4-5 days at Cadwell park over the 3 years I had mine and the Clio was my first foray into fast(ish) cars. If you trust yourself just go where you want.

p.s hello from a fellow Yorkshireman.
