Are you going to Sunday Service on the 30th?

Edited by Rochester TVR on Saturday 8th January 17:00
Sadly no, I will be in the New Forest. have you had your wheels done yet ?
Ok, enjoy the New Forest though mate... Taken the Clio down there a few times as the parents have a place in Woodgreen. Some nice roads, 40mph limit though!

If you get the chance check out Zig Zag Hill and aurrounding roads to the east of Ringwood, and also there is a nice road that links Woodgreen up to Salisbury.

Not had the wheels done yet, might have them done for the 30th but have decided to get the Alfa's alloys done next week instead.

Me too!!! I got mine in April & it is the only car I've owned that I haven't wanted to sell after 3months, I just love it!

Racing Blue
Cup Chassis
Anthracite Pack
Recaro's
Cup Spoiler
Bluetooth Radio (BIIIIIIGGGG Dissapointment!)

At the Sunday Service at Porsche Silverstone

And the only mod to date

Just looking at getting a Milltek Exhaust then driving it as much as possible, the only thing I can see replacing it is a Porsche 911 of some kind..... That'll be a long way off though if the othes half gets her way eek

If money was no object then this would be on my car but I can't see it being worth twice the price of the Milltek, afterall it wont really give anymore power despite the claims & all I want is a more throaty exhaust note (Childish I know biggrin )

I once had an astra gte that needed an exhaust replacing.

Took in in on a Friday afternoon and the guys removed the old system and threw it on the scrap exhaust pile.

Unfortunately they didn't have a new one in stock.

Had to drive the car a whole weekend with no exhaust system (at all).

The thing sounded like concorde - it was great biggrin

I had an old Civic in which the exhaust fell off while driving through Manchester city centre..... Sounded like a Touring car but the boys in blue weren't very impressed.

So who is coming to the Sunday Service then???

I see a few of you are from the South / South East so hopefully you'll fancy joning the cross-country convoy going from Guildford.
Trying to get as many 200's together as possible as we are always outnumbered at these events.

It's a bit too far for me, I'm hoping for a few more in the Midlands that I can go to.

Not bad...a clean sweep of the What Car Hot Hatch Awards for the second year in row. Great write up on the 200!

Interesting that its the Cup versions of all three that they prefer. Not that I disagree with them...

Over the last few days my 200 has 'beeped' 4 or 5 times when locking it.

It doesn't do it everytime, and I didn't even know they could 'beep'. I checked to make sure that the doors / windows were all closed which they were...

Any ideas?

You could try reading the alarm manual.

I'm not being cheeky - I say Try because I tried once and couldn't make head nor tail of it confused

Presume when you say checked the doors that includes the tailgate ?

Good Luck investigating this one smile

Noticed recently that my gearbox is a little notchy and more effort is required to change gear than before. My 200 is 5000miles old but it has been very cold here recently. The notchiness also seems to reduce once the car is warmer but it doesn't disappear completely.

Is the weather likely to have degraded the gearbox oil? Has anyone else experienced this recently?

I guess my options are to change the oil or take it into the dealer. I've never had a warranty before though so don't know if I should go straight to them or try and fix it myself!
