The idea was floated a couple of years ago, but we never got around to it.

Who fancies it?

Sunday lunch somewhere central, and a bit of a tyre kick.

Nothing stuffy like a BDC/RREC meet, was thinking of a bit of arsing about and a laugh and a joke biggrin

I'd be game!

Good chance to get to know the other mad Bentley owners and compare notes.

Guessing Tokyo is a little too far for everyone? smile

Would enjoy meeting if I happen to be in the UK at the time, but no trips planned for the next few months. South west or London base when at home.

Cheers,

Andy

I'd like to meet up too. I'm in North Wales. Is there a collective thought on where to meet?

So far the most central location looks to be Chester smile . . . . . . only joking, given that there are people from up here and down there I'd suggest somewhere just the other side of Brum, pity that we dont have anybody from Flying Spares on here as their place would have made an interesting and central meeting point

I am in the south of Scotland, and earlier this year, went to the Chulmondeleley Pageant of Power in m'turbo. It was FANTASTIC,and was sponsored by Bentley, who are just along the road. I was a little disappointed though, to see I was the only Bentley owner in the ordinary punters car park, and there appeared to be no club presence of any sort. I think it would be a splendid idea to put that straight next year. They do "club" parking, Cheshire is home to the cars, and is fairly central.
Only a suggestion, of course, and I would be up for anything that suits.
Le Mans, anyone?

Certainly looks like somewhere in the Midlands/North West heading up to Cheshire/Chester/Crewe area looks like it would suit most. Quite a way for those down South or Scotland, but there you go.

Conti T suggested Crewe, sounds good to me, we could park up front and then move on somewhere.

If it's Crewe, I'll pop “BG's dishevelled brother” onto a trailer so you can all have a chuckle at the previous bodywork repairs . . . . . . and yes we are going ahead with documenting and publishing the bodywork restoration smile

Now THAT sounds fun. What do you have on the other end of the tow-bar?

I've got a Shogun Sport for towing, but with a Bentley on the back, I’m only 50-60lbs away from max towing weight, so it’s not very quick!. . . . . the Towee (BG's Brother) is the 1990 Turbo R in my "it followed me home" thread on here (a similar spec to Warrens car, hence the BG's brother name), the bodywork of the car is interesting as the evidence at hand would suggest that a "specialist" we all know, is responsible for the previous "restoration", I won’t ruin the surprise, but let’s just say that I'm glad I know how to weld and have plenty of sheet steel to hand!
