As the graffiti in several public lavatories would confirm, I'm also easy smile

Sunday in November would be better suited - gives me time to make up an excuse to tell SWMBO.

You are of course more than welcome to come along anyway . . . . after all, the bodywork on my Turbo R is more Isopon than Bentley biggrin

I have checked (again) with my Supreme Executive Authority, and can confirm that any sunday, or saturday, in November is OK. December is not so good by reason of the approach of some religious festival or other.

Dear all,

May I suggest Sunday the 6th of November at Pyms Lane, Crewe, followed by a snackette and some foaming brown liquid in one of the local public houses smile

we'll be bringing along my rotten Turbo R (on a trailer) and my diagnostic kit(and a few discs containing the custom code specific for flying spur and Conti’s) for the latter VAG influenced cars if anybody is interested in seeing how simple it is to bugger everything up list and reset error codes / service interval reminders / behaviour of some of the lower functions like one touch windows and central locking . . . . . .

I would very much like to join in. And the offer of a look at the diagnostic thingy sounds great too.

Ok for me. Can we decide on a rough time? Are Bentley aware we want their car park? Do we care?
Seriously, I will trap whenever suits.
2woody, you are still good for a lift, so let me know your plans. You will maybe know my partner, (business) mv6.

We will probably be OK to park up outside for an impromptu meeting. I will give them a call though to check.

In that case, I think we should start a book on the odds that I'm asked to remove BG'sDB from the adjacent area hehe

Warren, whilst you have their ear, any chance of asking them to get in touch with PG and organise a "Sunday Service" at Crewe?

Unbeknown to me, my young lady had applied for two places on the Bentley Factory tour on Friday November 4th. She had it confirmed earlier this morning that we have the places she applied for, and I'm sure you all understand that I don't want to miss the opportunity.

As the trip from my home in North Wales to Crewe is 88m then back = 176 miles, I can't afford to do the trip twice in 3 days, even though I do drive extremely carefully in regards to fuel. Sadly I'm going to have to miss the meet on Nov 6th.

But if anyone is doing the factory tour on the Friday, I hope to meet you and say Hi. 'Hatty', my Bentley Turbo R, is Midnight Blue 1990 on an H plate, so you know which car to look for me in. Maybe I'll put 'Waffagolf' on the dash.

Just waiting for Oliver (Crewe Experience) to give us the OK on the parking. I spoke to Security, and they say it's OK, they just need a confirmation e-mail from someone up top.

So if you see Oliver on the 4th, say Hi and thanks, on our behalf smile

Parking is authorised outside the main reception. BUT, only for Rolls Royces with Bentley badges. Rolls Royces with Rolls Royce badges are not allowed, and will have to park in the visitors car park.

Let me guess Warren, you have an iPhone hehe

So, am I allowed to park my Mitsubishi towing a Bentley badged Rolls Royce in the car park, or do I need to glue the badges from it onto my VW biggrin
