You obviously don't understand what wrapping is!

It's a glorified sticker which you apply over the surface and is 100% removable. I'd go for the wrap as it is cheap to do and saves looking for the needle in the haystack car with the right spec and when you're bored of piano black or ready to sell the car you can peel it off and reveal the wood that the masses like so much.
Totally agree.......

You also seem to forget that buying a car with piano black wood trim... the craftsmanship that went into producing these panels was tremendous no doubt but to be piano black i believe is painted afterwards, which is only another form of covering up the wood grain finish. Vinyl wrapping is just the same except it can be peeled off at any point, it also can be a painted vinyl to any colour requirements ideal for personalizing your car for the individual look.

I do not get how some of you cannot accept that some people do not want to see bits of tree all over their modern Bentley? Yes it looks great, but it's not what we all want.

If not for these options Bentley would be missing out on potential sales i'm sure.

It would be a real labour of love trying to black wrap the interior, all that leather and switch gear yikes plus to get a good finish you’d need to remove the panel to wrap the cut edge behind.
Piano black was a surcharge for a reason it’s not easy to get bang on, on the veneer you’re looking and the detail of the wood which by its nature isn’t prefect. I’m a big fan of PB, I’ve not order my pipe and slippers just yet.

I quite like PB, it's fine on a 'T' or 'GT', I prefer the turned ally though. Quite a few folks being very stuffy and snobby about it, I thought that was my job round these parts?

If only they'd put the turned ally just on the drivers side on the GT, as it's look too much on the glove box as well.

No, I understand what wrapping is, though I think that there are a range of options which the OP may be considering which include coverings which are no more than glossy plastic. I am more concerned with the philosophical and psychological issues surrounding doing something like this to piece of hand crafted art.
