Does anyone have any idea about how noisy the carbon brakes on the supersports should be. I know they will squeal a lot under braking because of the nature of the discs and pads but, since going in for service there is a constant chirping even when not braking. This was present before but only happened occasionally. Now it is all the time. Could it be a brake adjustment problem?

Hi Cho,

No significant noise on mine at all under breaking or driving around - apart from when I'm reversing just the car has just been washed.

Cheers, Revs.

Thanks Revs. Looks like I might need to give bentley a call as two dealers have told me they all do that

Resurrecting a slightly old thread. Been into service again and they took the car out for a run. Warmed the brakes up so they didn't make much noise under braking but squeaking is still there. Now it seems like bentley says they have a certain operating window where this noise is acceptable. Now, I've seen a couple of supersports on the road and don't hear any noise from the brakes or squeaking. Any ideas?

The dealer has said they will try to get the pads changed for me so hopefully this will cure it but im not holding out too much hope as they said that the pads are extremely close to the discs. To me it sounds like they are almost in constant contact but that doesn't make sense either as the braking noise goes away once the brakes are warmed up
