.. I said hello. wavey

Just before Christmas I popped along to Barons Auction and came home the new owner of a rather cheap Bentley Mulsanne. I had gone with this and one other car in mind, thankfully the other was rather a dog whereas this seemed.... well... characterful. Encouraged by 10 months tax and Mot I stuck my hand up when others didn't. Result.

Collection didn't go altogether smoothly, after a promising start of about 1 mile, things went quickly downhill as we moved in to mile 2, some light smoke from the glovebox and she coughed and then ground to a halt, conveniently outside a Cafe Rouge. AA duly called an we adjourned for lunch. Thankfully it was nothing overly serious, a corroded fuse for the fuel pump had opted to melt and smoulder first before finally blowing, a quick fix up by the AA and we were on our way home. Most of winter has I must admit been spent hibernating, but looking forward to getting her out and about now. Some quick pics.

Am not expecting trouble free ownership at my purchase price point, am sure will be back with plenty of questions. wobble

Join the RREC and go to the seminar on the class. Every penny well spent , and a good weekend as well, as is the national RREC rally, OR try the BDC, both great
