Anyone know a supplier who makes replacement brake kits for the Shadow II? I've tried wilwood and I can't find a hub to fit the enormous spindle on the shadow. I remember being told once that the spindle on the shadow is a truck item - any idea which truck it came from?

Note: Its all part of the customisation I'm doing so the brakes need a significant upgrade.

IIRC the wheel studs and nuts are Ford Transit.

Blimey what are you doing mate?? Dropping a dragster motor in it?? Those brakes oughtta be well up to the job of most anything, from my experience at least. My Shadow II and Turbo R both will stand on their noses if asked...

I have an e-rod engine on order smile 420HP out of the box should be enough for now.

It's certainly not a hub or hub carrier off anything else for starters.

what age of Shad is it ? if it's a late one running on GMF instead of brake fluid then you're really limited to any caliper that will run mineral fluid.

what's really going to hamper you is the wheel diameter - the standard brakes are really excellent and just about unbeatable for 15" wheels.

I'd start with a proper look-see at the braking capabilities of the car and the condition of the brake actuation system and focus on heat shedding from the discs ( pad meterial and venting ) rather than fitting different calipers and hoping that does the trick.
