Sorry not very computer savvy so cant supply link ! But Targetcars.eu in Holland have a 2001 arnage red label with just under 78k mls - fsh , hpi clear for just £16,250 stg ! like a lot of their cars its a uk car and been for sale for quite a while.
I know this dealer has a bit of a rep. but I am sure not all their cars can be bad and they normally say in their uk ads if car has been damaged or has defects. Has anyone been to see the car ?

Its interesting.Other cars are also struggling, the comparatively rare continental T "Stratton model" with 22000 miles languishing in Lancashire ,has been unsold for many months with a price of 69K.

I think that I have just turned into my Dad as I've just picked up on this thread and I find myself admiring these Bentleys and thinking that they are pretty good value for money!

It's just too expensive - To get that car shifted, it probably needs to be £20k less, and even then it might take some time.

Before buying my own car, I followed the market for Continental R / T for 18 months. Some cars remained on the market for longer than that. For whatever reason, they are just not flavour of the month at the moment, which is why it is is a good time to buy because, taking into account the rarity of them and what they offer, they have to be undervalued at the moment. Almost like the market forgot about them.

yes agree azure and continental r/t seem very slow to sell and are a good long term buy/ investment. , the dealer in Holland with the cheap Arnage also have an ex US 2001 conti. R for sale for a very long time.

Personally, I think US spec European cars are really undesirable. Probably their problem there.

aside from often not having FSH ( that one does) what is so undesirable about them ?

because they are molested versions of the European original in order to meet Federal requirements. As a result, they are normally less powerful and often the aesthetics are affected too.

In all fairness, the Bentley Cont. R is not all that different to the European version (unlike some cars of years gone by. eg. 1980's Merc SL) - but the stigma still affects it for a European buyer, in my view.
