Hello,

I am hoping that someone can shed some light on a small issue that i have been having with my Bentley Continental Flying Spur recently.

The problem is, when I lock the car, the hazard lights flash for around 30 seconds before turning off. On top of this, the wing mirror lights seem to stay on (not all the time but on occasion) for a prolonged period as well (this can be 5 minutes +). I have tried to Google the problem but have not came across a definitive answer yet. There are no warning lights on the dash and i don't believe it is hinting that something is open as the doors have soft shut (i.e. close themselves). Hopefully someone here has an idea for what is causing this as I would rather not take it to a dealership for them to tell me that the battery was low on the keys or a wire was loose or something daft and charge £500 for the novelty!

Thanks in advance and any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

Find the Settings button bottom right of the tv screen. Press it and you can set the timings to suit yourself.

Ahhhh! I did not know that could be changed! If it is the case and it fixes the 'problem', then I do bow my head in shame.

Will check it out tomorrow, and let you know - thanks pal.

Just a quick note that amending the settings in the centre console did not resolve the issue. Apparently, it is something to do with the rear left battery which needs replacing upon diagnostics. Will need to purchase a new one now.

Same battery as the GT/GTC as I recall, thus the good news is that VW can do it for you.

Batteries from VW

Main battery: 000 915 105 CE ~$220 (USD)
Starter battery: 000 915 105 DE ~$139 (USD)
