The wife and I went out to our weekly bridge game last night and came out afterwards in the middle of a blizzard. The Arnage was fighting for grip in a couple of places, but managed to get us home without too much drama.

I do wish it had a better defrost, though... visibility was limited at best.

Cheers,
Jeff.

I had a similar experience - just about managed to climb some hills too, it's all about keeping momentum. Next time we have snow I will be doing some safe tests with and without ASC on as I think sometimes controlled wheel spin is better. Too bad I sold the Continental GT, it used to be my winter car!

Defrost should be fine, are you sure your AC is fully charged and operational?

I indeed suspect the AC is down on charge -- but it's hard to tell most of the time in Ireland. wink

Cheers,
Jeff.

In "normal" cars AC doesn't work in freezing temps - otherwise the evaporator would ice up.

Interesting.

I also note that when I put it in Max Defrost mode, it turns on air recirculation (which seems to be a mistake as it will just recirculate all the humidity). Do others' cars do that?

(FWIW, mine's a 2007 Arnage.)

Cheers,
Jeff.
