even though they are more or less the same car , the last of the silver spirit/ spur / dawn manage to look classy - put it down to wheels/ bumpers etc. - in a way that the older cars didn't.
The silver seraph is very colour/ wheel sensitive and the fact it has an engine from a 7 series means you will possibly wonder if you are just driving a posher 7 series.

Thank you very much. I'm very pleased.
Congratulations, that's stunning..... Looks like you found a real gem there, a pristine example!

I looked on the dealers site and viewed all the pictures, that leather still looks plump, soft and sumptuous - I'm really quite envious!

Enjoy!

Midnight Blue, 22k mikes and totally original stunning condition. The car was local to me at Derek C Mowat. He was a pleasure to deal with and his cars are stunning! A very nice chap. I'm over the moon.
Looks superb - I'm sure you have made a good choice.

I think Derek Mowat only ever sells nice cars.

True Story! When you speak to Derek you can tell he is a real enthusiast! I believe the car business is just a hobby because he owns another successful business in Edinburgh and therefore does not "need" to buy and sell stock. I'm sure we will do business again.

That looks very nice indeed; and congratulatons for coming on here, seeking advice, actually buying something within a relatively short period of time and then updating the thread.

I looked at the wrong advert initially as he also has a later Spur, which also looks good.

I suspect it will change your driving style when out and about in it and you'll probably adopt a more 'relaxed' style.

Good choice smile

Thank you. The purchase wasn't as hasty or as quick as you may think. I first spoke to Derek just over a year ago when I was thinking of buying a luxuary saloon. I started doing my homework back then. However a manual Porsche 996 Turbo came up for sale at Porsche Glasgow and I bought that. I always kept my eye out for a Rolls Royce or Bentley and noticed the Spur was back up for sale. I gave Derek a call because I didn't want to miss out again. The Spur is stunning but I fell in love with the Midnight Blue Spirit and it was cheaper which was a bonus. I am a real car lover and want to experience as many interesting cars as possible. I continue to look for a Morgan, Elise, Focus RS Mk1 and I wished I kept my NSX... rage!!!
