Hi , I’m considering buying a high specked 2014 Continental V8 s. It’s in exceptional condition and has done circa 50,000 miles.

I’m a Bentley first timer so please excuse me if I ask some daft questions .

Firstly how can I check clutch ware, I’ve had Maserati’s in the past and these could be checked electronically .

Secondly what would a replacement clutch cost.

Thirdly the car in question has ceramic brakes what’s the life on these, I know they should be ok but as with all these questions it depends on the way the car has been driven etc!

Any other advice would be great fully received.

hi, did you buy the car? I had carbon brakes on my previous car and the disks lasted 14 years with 55000 miles. Replacement was expensive 12K.

Hi Thanks for coming back ,I didn’t buy the car in the end bought an Aston Martin V 8 Vantage instead .

Vantage V8 is a lovely car, enjoy, I keep window shopping for now and see what early next year brings
