Can't find the thread I had about my Turbo R so I'll just post an update here.
Recent upgraded front springs and replaced starter motor.
Just been to Germany for 6 days as a mixture of work pleasure. Sat on the Autobahn at 140 for a short while and cruised around 90 for quite a bit. Checked fuel consumption there and back (a full tank from my house to destination) and it made a respectful 20 mpg.
They are wonderful cars!
