Hi All,

Can anyone let me know the engine code for a 2001 Mini One 1.6?

My daughter has 'lunched' her engine through lack of oil checking and general carelessness

Are you after a part number? All one and copper (not S) are the same basic unit. Are you looking used? If posible go for an 03 on unit with gear box as a number of updates were done after that date. Also easy to fit one lump in.

So far, I have W10 B16 - AA ?? Anyone know if this is correct?

Also, tried DMS and findapart.com, any other places to enquire?

Would like one with as low mileage as possible obviously, but how can you tell if it's second hand / salvaged?
