Improving on Radio Boost

Right chaps and chapesses, I've got standard R53 Chilli Pack headunit and multidisc player and it badly needs an improvement.

What can I do which is reasonably OEM to give me better sound?

Harmon Kardon retrofit is not worth the effort I'm led to believe but what else is there?
