New 06 mcs owner which automatic do I have??

Hello all, bought this lovely convertible last week, thrilled to bits with it especially around London. I have a couple of questions, I've been researching but completely confused regarding which auto I have cvt, betray, aisin?..
I'm asking as I've read numerous horror stories re the auto, and I have noticed mine occasionally bucks on braking, similar to changing down too early on a manual, and also revs occasionally too hard when I haven put my foot down. It's only covered 17000, and had it's last mini service in feb. I was thinking of changing the gearbox oil but after reading it maybe impossible as it could be a closed unit???

I'm confident it's ok, just could do with some direction by some people in the know, thanks.

Ok now driving , def weird gear changing, gearin up too late and gearing down too quickly, I wander if cold engine has something to do with it? In all, causes a buckaroo sensation. If I go full throttle then the gear changes are smooth, and higher speeds is faultless, just seems to be more exaggerated lower speeds. Thoughts would be appreciated, after you've all been for you Sunday spins. I'm thinking some kind of sensor rather than the gearbox.
