Morning all,

Viewing this Saturday morning and just wondered what you thought it's new price might have been.

Yep, that would have been list, but with all the options? Ballpark will do.

By the way Boobles, bit cheeky but while I've got you here, what would be the best baby seat for an 8 month old? Ideally want forward facing for ease of entry. smile

hehe I don't mind.

How much does your child weigh? It is very important that you keep them in a rear facing seat until they weigh approx 13kg.

With regard to the forward facing seat, what car is it intended for?

It'll be for the Mini, if I buy it. Think he weights about 20lbs at the mo, but will need to double check. Cheers.

Cheers Boobles.

Anyone have any idea on the price of the Mini? This seems to have most the spec bar the sunroof.

I'd definitely say more like 23k, all depends on the bodykit as they are hugely expensive at the dealer. Judging by the wheels I wouldn't be surprised if it was retro fitted

If I remember, I'll check on the BMW mainframe tomorrow to find out exactly how much it cost when it was first delivered for you! It won't take into account discounts though, although there never were any good ones on these

£22,500 on the road back in 2009.

Dealer visits:
13/05/2011 15144 Cooper R 54580
06/05/2011 15144 Cooper R 54484
11/04/2011 15144 Cooper R 54226
03/03/2011 15110 Cooper TD 51286
02/11/2010 15110 Cooper TD 41231
22/09/2010 15110 Cooper TD 37773
22/06/2010 15110 Cooper TD 31655
16/04/2010 15110 Cooper TD 25954
23/02/2010 15110 Cooper TD 21478

HPI clear.

My only concern with it is that it is a 2 owner, with the last owner buying it on 18/08/2011.... either something is wrong with it, or he is bought it cheap to make a quick buck!

Thanks so much for that. It seems to have been to the dealer loads for a two year old car. But then I guess the mileage is way above average.

Picking the car up tonight, so I guess it's too late now if somethings wrong with it. But it's under warranty 'til May so if anything crops up I've always got that to fall back on.

The quick change of ownership is a niggle if I'm honest, but the seller seems decent enough and is buying to get another one lower mileage. Just hope that's the case. smile

The mileage wouldn't put me off & the visits to the dealer wouldn't put me off so long as any problems were sorted.
I would however ask the previous owner why he wants to sell after only 2 months of owning it.... Is he a trade seller?

Hi Boobles,

He's retired at 45, used to work in the City and seems like a decent bloke. Selling to get a new one to pile the miles onto. Think he's got a collection of rather nice cars including a 599, so not sure the financial implications of the sale are the be all and end all for him. I could be wrong, but he seems sound enough.

Hopefully nothing to worry about then. Sometimes you just have to follow your heart & if the deal felt right at the time, just go for it as you already have. thumbup
