Bought a 2009 MCS. Any chance anyone knows the full spec?
Discussion
Afternoon all.
Just wondering if anyone who works for BMW/MIN knows the full spec of the Mini I've recently bought.
The reg is LD09ZXA. The owner I bought it from only seemed to have a vague idea of what it came with, though to my eyes it seems pretty loaded, bar the sunroof.
PS, it's not the one in my profile pic.
Cheers and much appreciated.

Cheers AOK. How did you know I hadn't got round to it yet?
It's actually that I hope you hadn't - nothing more annoying when you're sitting at your desk twiddling your thumbs than the sales line ringing, jumping in excitement as it should be an enquiry, and then reception telling you "could you check this guys spec for him... he's JUST BOUGHT ELSEWHERE"honesty is rare in the car trade - but there ya go!
Will look your car up tmr for you mate
Right!

Clear
Other findings:
The car was part exchanged at Audi Reading by its first owner for a new Audi on 10/06/2011.
Audi Reading gave the customer £9,500 for it.
They then sold it to FM Motors (GB) Ltd for £9,500 on 16/06/2011
The mileage at point of sale was 56,220.
Photos from sale:
As the car has 2 previous owners on the HPI, I'm guessing someone bought it off FM Motors in June/July and then sold it to you on 02/11/2011
Hope that helps

AOK, I have to say you've pulled it out the bag. I'm amazed what you managed to find out.
I really wasn't expecting pics. I bought the car at 58,000 miles and it's mint inside with just a few stone chips on the bonnet, plus a couple of small chips along the side. But delighted with it all in all.
I know the previous owner bought it off FM Motors for just under £12000. Think I did all right all in all. Thanks for your research. Much appreciated.
Edited to add, I'm surprised it doesn't mention the JCW bodykit - so you reckon this might have been added later?

I was going to ask about that... I'd have to see it to see how well it's fitted / painted.I really wasn't expecting pics. I bought the car at 58,000 miles and it's mint inside with just a few stone chips on the bonnet, plus a couple of small chips along the side. But delighted with it all in all.

IIRC, the 'aerodynamic bodykit' was a dealer-fit accessory until 2010/2011, when it became factory fit under the 'Sport Pack'... so I'd suggest it was supplied and fitted with the car to the first retail customer.
The only thing that didn't quite stack up is that the car was sold to FM Motors by Audi described as a MINI Cooper S Hatchback JCW GP. I'm on the BMW side so don't know Mini's THAT well, but I don't think it was a GP right?

GPs were only in the old R53 shape, so not one of those. But it's probably just some admin thing that's crept in. Can't say I'm worried about it to be honest. This JCW kit looks great and it's got the stainless steel sill things too. Doesnt need any more power as it already torque steers like a bd.
