tips for engine bay?

my 2003 cooper S engine bay seem to get so mucky and dust, no matter how much and how many hours i spend cleaning it it always seem to be as bad? i know theres a scoop on the bonnet but....does any1 else have this problem? has any1 got any tips on keeping it abit cleaner than it is?

I do get some dust & crap in there but just spend time once every couple of weeks on it (check fluids at the same time;)).

For the plastic & rubber parts I use Chemical Guys 'New Look Trim Gel', the blingy bits I use metal polish.

Use any APC at 1 volume for 3 volume of water in a spray bottle and a nail brush to agitate and a cheapo disposable MF to dry.

Then treat with CG indeed or Carpro Perl or AG bumper care etc etc.
