As the title says.
Definitely 'pipes' not 'hoses'

What should I expect for my wifes Cooper? I will do them all.
MOT advisory, not a fail but I obviously want to do it asap.
No way am I going near a main dealer.

Main dealer pipe kit is steel and straight. Garages hate them. Just go round your local indy & get them to make a set up from copper. Shouldn't be more than £200 all in made, fitted & bled.

Cheers and thanks.
The guy doing it is a Classic Mini race car prepper so should know his stuff.

Sorry, I just noticed you said you were doing it yourself. Replacing the rear circuit which is what I assume you intend to do is pretty straightforward, but I would pass on my experience which is that it's an awkward job in terms of access. The unions at the front of the circuit will corrode & require a bit of undoing around the exhaust support brackets & are difficult to get spanners on. The routing is a pain around the suspension at the rear & doing it on axle stands is a real pain, but it is do able if you have the tools & patience.

A ramp is ideal, but having renewed mine, if I had to do it again, I would be heavily inclined to hand over money to my local grease monkey. Good luck!

You were right first time. No way I'm interfering with brakes!
Got a good man lined up to look at it on Monday.
