mini 2004 cab alarm problem

My daughter has a 2004 mini cabriolet and if it is left locked for any length of time the alarm sounds. I have looked at all the obvious areas door switches hood etc.
Is there a fuse I can remove to disable the alarm or any obvious problems that I can investigate. Fuse F24 is for Alarm/immobilizer but would pulling this immobilize the car and not just the alarm?
