Just a bit of history, bought the Mrs a lovely cooper a few years ago, bright red/white roof, JCW body kit, union jack roof/mirror caps, real head turner and she loved it, after a year and putting 10k on it we sold it for more than i paid, when does that ever happen confused

Next was a black/black cooper S, she chose it and took the money and bought it without me seeing it, wasn't my cuppa tea, looked boring, no body kit, alloys a bit rough etc etc, well just sold it after 18 months, glad to get rid what a crock that was

Shes bought a streetka as a temp runabout until she sees something she likes and she said it probably wouldn't be a mini, been there done that sort of thing

WELL, the other day we went out for a meal and walking back to my car we saw that a mini had parked next to us and guess what.......she fell in love with it, i loved it and was ready to leave a note under the wiper with my mobile asking to sell me that car

Had a look around the usual places like PH clasifieds, autotrader etc etc but nothing like this, so what was it

It had the later JCW bodykit so would be an R56? Mini challenge front spoiler/splitter, mini challenge rear diffuser, a roof spoiler but not a mini challenge but one with 2 inboard posts and i believe mini challenge/works recaro seats with the embroidery, light blue in colour with white multi spoke wheels, couldn't tell the year as it had a private number

What model was this, please help as the Mrs needs this car so she can function properly lol!

Sounds like a well sorted R56. MINI hasn't sold a car from the factory with that specification before.

All of those parts are available to buy aftermarket, so you could make any MINI look very similar. A facelift (post September '10) fJCW would be a good place to start smile

In that case then undoubtedly someone has spent a fair bit on it, i priced the front spoiler, rear diffuser, JCW carbon rear spoiler and JCW/works recaro alcantara bucket seats, all from minigenuineparts..........grand total of £3600, £2600 of that is just the seats

Who knows, i may have to get one built for er indoors?
