tyre question MOT time

Hi all,

Not sure where to post this anyway....

Is this an mot failure? R50 mini front tyre goodyear excellence runflat 3mm even wear but the shoulder is starting to lift in one patch on the edge. (im guessing OH's lack of pressure checks running tyres below recommended pressures

Would rather not spend £200 on a new pair but oh well.

Cheers I may hold off getting new tyres then. Ive been looking at tyre prices today and the same tyres differ in price greatly. I just don't want to get forced into buying new tyres at the MOT place and paying silly prices to get the car passed.
