Air bag

Ordered a mini due for delivery on Monday, received a phone call yesterday saying there is a fault on certain models, of which mine is one, to do with the air bags and it may take up to a month to sort it. I personally think they are talking a load of crap. Is there anyone out there who works in a dealership who can verify this problem.

There is a recall on the BMW e46 airbags or associated bits so may be related.

It could of course be tosh.
