Hi,

I have a 2008 Cooper (picked it up at the weekend and love it!). Ive seen a couple with two spotlights added to the front grille, which i think looks quite smart.

Is this easy to do? I've had a brief look online and it would appear that I'd need a replacement front grille, plus brackets and lights etc. Not sure how easy the wiring would be.

Has anyone on here done this to their MINI? If so, do you have any pointers/tips? Could anyone recommend a good supplier for things such as spotlights?

Its not something Ill do straight away (if I decide to definitely do it).

Thanks in advance!

Will

My wife wants these on her Cooper so let us know how you get on. I am not sure they will do much though as she has xenons anyway. They may provide a wiring diagram or new connector (here is hoping anyway).

Will do, probably won't do it for a little while yet. I don't have xenons so it will probably make a difference smile

One of the many mini specific forums will have the info - i've never done it but i believe on R56 cars its pretty straightforward and doesn't need coding or anything.

minigenuineparts.co.uk wil have the bits you need, just the lights, new grille and brackets.

As far as i'm aware by default they only come on with full beams.
