Mini Connected With iPhone 6??

I had an old Y Cable from my last BMW that I tried in ours (with a Lightning adaptor fitted) - that didn't work. I looked at the various cheap options on Amazon that had very mixed reviews.

Because I wanted to have the same Spotify integration I have in my 3 Series I just bit the bullet and shelled out the £60 for the cable from BMW.
