R56 service manual

I need to do a timing chain replacement and am wondering if a Haynes manual covers the work required. I live in New Zealand, nowhere near anyone who has done this job before. I can get parts and special tools required. I've seen a few limited videos and instructions, but could do with more detailed procedures.
Can it be done without dismantling the front end (or putting car into service position), by doing some of the setps through the drivers side wheel arch?

Any help much appreciated.
