Want a 1.6 Mini Cooper...

Hi guys, bit of a long shot but I have an '02 Renaultsport Clio 172 in dark metallic blue, alcantara trim which I recently aquired to use for a bit of Motorsport. I got it cheap on a whim, could not say no really, but it is a good one the guy just didn't want it and I lucked in. But I am 50/50 with doing it in that OR selling it and doing some 1600cc standard class sprinting in a basic MINI cooper. Bit of a long shot but saving me the kerfuffle of selling the Clio first I thought I'd ask if any PH'ers would fancy doing a deal and swapping. If anyone is interested drop me a message. I am not necessarily looking for a concourse condition car, or even one fully loaded as I want it as light as possible, so a basic car would suit me.

Fury - not got a Mini to swap but thinking about a 172 at the mo and you seem to have had fairly similar tastes in cars to me.

Why did you decide it might not be a keeper, the forums on here are full of people raving about them or saying they were totally underwhelming...seems a bit marmite!

I have a 53 reg mini cooper that I keep meaning to sell. So if you do want one then drop me a mail. Its relatively low mileage and we have had it for 5 years. Think its a 50K miles car. Silver, black roof, chilli spec from memory. I'll not give it away but sell it at the going rate ie not a premium.
