Remapping a Cooper?

Is there any point remapping a mini cooper? I.e Bluefin Superchip, DNA etc?
Are the gains noticeable? Looking to put a little life back into my Red cooper.

any diesal is worth a remap, petrol no.

What year? I mapped my brother's Park Lane and the difference is crazy, the standard map only opens the throttle to something like 55% at peak power.
I won't be able to say the actual improvements until we get it on the RR, but like for like against another cooper it's noticeably quicker.
