SWMBO came in at a smidge under £30K.

Strange to see another with the Pana roof, our dealer had 200 cars in stock and only one with a sunroof which was SWMBO main priority. The sunroof basically decided the roof colour for us.

I so nearly went for the black roof but decided the red would complement the interior well. I have a thing for Black/Redd interiors biggrin

That's very nice. I know a few Evora owners have gone that way. Much better put together but I would miss the Lotus handling characteristics though which has brought some of them back again.

We went for the black and red interior as well, but felt that with so much of the roof being black glass that black was the way to go and she then put the rest of the colour scheme together from there.

I suspect that if the roof wasn't black she'd have gone a different way with the colour altogether.

Car registered today, so looks like we may get it Monday. Fingers crossed. Time to buy the Gtechniq.

This highlights the very reason I opted for black colourline interior instead of red colourline (as most have)... because I saw it in the flesh before ordering and found the red is a different shade of red to the red on the Dinamica seats and would irritate me every time I get in the car!

I was aware it is a bit different, but it's also a different material. We merely took the view that if it looked "wrong" we'd simply get it re-upholstered - it's not exactly going to be expensive.

That said, whilst they seem to promote it as a match it does seem to be a bit stupid not to have an exact match available.

I'm surprised how little extra the JCW is over the Cooper S. I've been playing with the configurator this morning, it's just over £2k extra for the JCW (£23.9k vs £26.2k) as the JCW comes with some extra standard equipment that I'd spec in an F56 S scratchchin

You'll get more than that back at resale..... only the chances are that the differential won't stay there once you start looking at the other options available.

Its here...... Collected on Monday.

I must admit I was a bit dubious about some of her choices in the spec, but it's actually bloody nice especially when the sun catches the green. Only thing we have decided was a wrong call was that we went for the standard (silver pinstriped) black bonnet stripes instead of the (red pinstriped) JCW ones. They will be changed shorty.

Definitely need to change the stripes. Far too many BRG cars for my liking, it was supposed to be different!

Where did you find those 2 together?

I was looking at getting her a set of the black/silver cross spoke JCW 18s and have a set of winters, but actually really like the 17s.

So it looks like everyone is loving their JCWs?

I'm almost certainly going to replace my M5 with one, want a more reasonable commuting car while still feeling special. Will be getting a weekend car to replace the lost horsepower, planning to import a Camaro ZL1!

Is it normal to feel this amount of excitement when speccing it up?!

Can anyone give comment on motorway comfort, I'm looking at getting active cruise control does it work well in stop start traffic jams?

Did a reasonable Motorway trip in mine last week and didn't have any issues at all. Not used the CC and probably won't.

On the advice of a client who owns a retail tyre business and runs two MINI's (not JCW) I will be changing the run flats for P Zeros in a week or so time. Will give a better feel I am sure.

The car is just brilliant, and boy to you have to keep an eye on the speedo yes

Good to hear! Regarding the runflats I think i prefer the appearance of the all black 17 inch alloys which I think are not runflat, but I may be wrong......

P.S. Oh yeah and anyone get the active LED headlights? Only £60!

P.P.S. Whats the standard sound system with the Media pack XL like? Is Harmon Kardon essential?
