F56 JCW Steering wheel - unable to 'scan' through tracks..
Discussion
Hi,
After starting a thread here a few months ago, I took the plunge and ordered a Cooper SD hatch, which arrived today.
I've plugged my iPod in the USB socket using the same USB lead I use to connect it to my laptop. It recognises and plays just fine, with the exception of not being able to scan through tracks using the steering wheel function. By that I mean, I can't seem to skip from 30 seconds to 60 second within the same track by holding down the < > buttons on the steering wheel, instead I can only skip from track to track.
However, the < > buttons on the dash do allow me to skip through tracks though!
Frustrating! Am I missing something?
Cheers

No your not missing anything, it's how the system works you can only skip the track time on the headunit. After starting a thread here a few months ago, I took the plunge and ordered a Cooper SD hatch, which arrived today.
