R53 Aero Kit

Hi guys, thinking about going to have a look at this...

I'm just wondering one thing. He says it has the Aero Kit... does it? I find it hard to tell in those pictures, plus the fact I don't know much about Mini's really! As far as I can tell the front bumper is definitely Aero but I'm not sure about the rest? I'd love to be able to buy a car with one already on as I know they're pretty rare and expensive these days. Thanks

No aerokit parts on that MINI

Those are the stock R53 front & rear bumpers and sideskirts

Thanks! I was trying to compare pictures but it's hard in black to the untrained eye... at least if I still go for a look I can use that as a bartering tool now

Are you still looking at over £1,000 for a kit? I found some links to old forum posts (not on here) and they're all quite old so wondering if you can even still get hold of them. Certainly nothing decent for an R53 on eBay.

It has the aero grille, thats all.

In terms of getting hold of the kit, I'm sure I read that BMW ran out of them a couple of years ago. You might get lucky on classifieds/ebay etc, but beware of copies of the front bumper - some of them aren't the best fit

They have plenty of stock of them, I order them most weeks.

OP, that doesn't have an aero kit fitted, just the grille.
