Aftermarket head unit + factory cd changer... (R50)

Hi guys, hopefully this will be a fairly simple question to answer...

So i have an R50 mini with the boost stereo (cd player), which i plan to remove and replace with an alpine head unit i already have. I already have the wiring kits i need (actually i have two, as the set came with the pre and post facelift wiring) so hopefully it will be a matter of removing the old stereo and installing the new...

However, my mini also has the 6 cd changer in the boot, and i have not found any references in my google searches to the use of aftermarket stereos with the cd changer. Nowhere does it say how to keep it wired it... or if its even possible. I guess the cd changer was a fairly uncommon option?

So i was wondering if anyone out there had experience with this and could lend a hand. The alpine unit im using is pretty new, and allows for bluetooth and usb inputs, so i expect it has no issue with cd changers, but i dont know if it will require extra cabling that i dont have? Or is it all part of the iso wiring loom?
