Used to be clearer on the R56, as it was either the big speedo or a nav system. (The exception being the Visual Boost which added the screen but no navigation; it was, to say the least, a rare option as it cost almost the same as the Media Pack.) With the new interior it's not as obvious. A summary would be a bigger screen for navigation and a centre armrest with a docking station for an iPhone 5/6 (there might be others). Note it says 'preparation'; I believe the phone specific cradle itself is extra from the dealer's parts dept. so make sure you get it bundled. IIRC the MINI Controller is also upgraded to something remarkably similar to the BMW iDrive controller; indeed, the whole system is a skin on the BMW Professional Nav screen. Not a bad thing as that's now quite slick.

* Enhanced Bluetooth + USB audio:
[Standard BT + audio allows simple pairing and a USB stick with songs to be plugged in.] The enhanced Bluetooth mobile preparation features a hands-free interface, enabling the driver to make telephone calls while driving. The preparation includes a centre armrest that is ideal for storing mobile phones, plus a 3-spoke sports steering wheel with a multifunction option capable of operating a range of telephone functions, like accepting incoming calls.

* Profession nav:
The Professional navigation system, with its 8.8" screen and 3D navigation, features a split-screen function allowing two map views to be displayed at the same time. It is operated via the MINI Controller with touch functionality, and includes the following: MINI Connected, MINI Connected XL Journey Mate, enhanced Bluetooth connectivity and 20 GB hard drive.

* Mini Connected
MINI Connected XL expands MINI Connected services, offering a range of smart, standalone apps. They help to better connect the MINI with the world around it, using vehicle and contextual information. The MINI Connected XL Journey Mate acts as a virtual travelling companion. Like a good friend, it provides expert assistance from route planning to reaching the final destination. [In other words, some internet connected, location aware, apps for the Nav system. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a subscription charge for this after the first three years.]
