MINI tyre inflation goo...

A while back i used the tyres inflation kit from my MINI and i threw away the part below, thinking it was disposable...



When i google replacement tyre goo for MINI inflation kit i get this sort of refill stuff

1. Should i have kept the canister?
2. How can i get a new one without spending £100 + on a whole new kit?
