Having a tinker recently with some of the cars. I accidentally picked up the locking wheel nut key to my sons R56MCS and used it on my wife's F56JCW. Imagine my surprise when it fitted?

Does anyone know how many combinations mini have, because quite frankly they are feck all use if they are all the same. Might have to replace them with after market jobs.

If you go on the factory tour, you will see when you get the the end where they put the wheels on there is a big box of them, so all the cars off the line will have the same, left or right hand drive, so they will all get shuffled up when they get it the real world.

I can't see the point in locking nuts anyway.....

So i see your car....I like your wheels....so i break into the boot....steal the locking nut key....remove your wheels....

Not only are you missing your wheels you also have damage to the car where I broke in

The locking nut on a corsa i had actually broke......It took them about 6 days to get me another, and then remove the broken nut

luckily for me it happened as I was changing the wheels to "winter wheels" and not a puncture

top tip when getting tyres changed, when they put the wheels back on.....don't let them use a gun....take a torque wrench., and tighten the nuts using that, rather than over tightening the wheels nuts, making it more likely they might break
