New Mini, Classic car insurance ?

My wife is looking at a 2004/5 Mini Cabriolet as a second car, it will be for minimal summer use, she has another car, so in theory fulfils the remit for classic car insurance, which in my mind used to be for cars 10 years or older....but I appear to be wrong on this, at least as far as Adrian Flux are concerned. The new shape Mini is too new.

Anyone know any different, club schemes etc........
