do you not just press the obc button on the end of the indicator stalk whilst the engine is running to cycle through the obc functions?

Thanks dragonheart, embarrassingly found that out today when I went and had a moan at the garage. The manual I have talks about the old style stalks with the button on the top that actually looks like a button, after a year of owning the car I didn't realise that the button on the newer cars had it on the end of the stalk and it doesn't look like a button
My old cooper had a button on the top of the stalk.
Ah well live and learn smile
