Hi Guys

Just got my new to me 05 Mini Cooper S in black and I am wanting to give him as really good clean this weekend and was wondering what products everyone else uses to wash there's.

I am looking particularly wanting a suitable product for the external plastics to re-black them and for chrome on the car.

Any suggestions really appreciated.

I quite like the Autoglym bumper and trim gel. Once it has been applied well, the next time you just need to be thorough with the clean to get all the grime out again (simply washing does not seem to work, but a good rub with a microfiber cloth brings it back again....)

Also, take a look at Autoglym Super Resin Polish for a black car. It used to work marvels with my 'swirly' black paintwork on an old Alfa.

PS - I don't work for Autoglym - have just used and liked these two products. smile

Absolutely, regime for each car on arrival:

Brand new cars are light machine polished, second hand full machine polish, both followed by:

G1&2 on glass
C1 and C2V3 on paint
C4 on plastics
